At the 71st Pula Film Festival in July 2024, legendary actor Slavko Štimac was honored with the prestigious "Fabijan Šovagović" Award for his lifetime contribution to Croatian and regional cinema. Presented by the Society of Croatian Film Directors, the accolade recognized his enduring impact on film history, spanning from his iconic breakout role in Vlak u snijegu (1976) to his decades of celebrated performances.
To accompany his recognition, Panorama Films produced a special, short documentary announcement film honoring his career. Directed by Judita Gamulin, the short piece captured the essence of Štimac’s artistry and was screened at the festival to introduce the legendary actor before he stepped on stage to accept his lifetime achievement award.
